Sandhill Boulevard divides Deep Creek into two sections, Section 20 to the north and Section 23 to the south.    Port Charlotte is located in Charlotte County Florida, close to Punta Gorda. Nestled between the Peace River on the east and the Myakka river on the west.  It also is the home of the "Tampa Bay Rays" spring training facility.

South Gulf Cove

   South Gulf Cove is a unique deed restricted waterfront community built on approximately 6,200 acres with 15,000 deeded lots, of which 4,734 are waterfront.

   South Gulf Cove has 126 navigable canals totaling approximately 55 miles. The waterways make up nearly 1/3 of ALL the canals in Charlotte County. The canals have made South Gulf Cove an island connected by four bridges. The Interceptor Lagoon leads to a lock providing access to the Charlotte Harbor, the Gulf of Mexico and the World! 
   The community is a fisherman's and boaters’ paradise, and is located midway between Boca Grande and Port Charlotte in the Cape Haze area, it is south of Sarasota and north of Fort Myers.

 Pirate Harbor is a laid-back bayou-like Florida waterfront community featuring upland, canal and natural waterway properties. It is situated on the Eastern Shore of Charlotte Harbor, midway between Punta Gorda to the north and Pine Island to the south. It is about 12 miles by water from Boca Grande Pass, Charlotte Harbor’s gateway to the Gulf of Mexico. Pirate Harbor was platted in April 1958. Work commenced to create the main channel to Charlotte Harbor, the canals and waterway properties and the roads to these properties. The relative age of houses is apparent from their elevation, which increased over the years due to changes in flood elevation code requirements. Houses build in the ‘60s are quite low to the ground; in the ‘70s around five feet higher and from about the mid-eighties to the present, many are built on wood or concrete pilings, 11 feet or higher above water level.
